Free Stock Images!

 Ever since I accepted a job as a web designer, the hardest part has always been finding images to use on the website without breaking copyright or plagiarism. A couple of months ago, I had taken on a new client whose website needed to be up and running as soon as possible. As I looking around the internet, and searching ‘stock photo images free', I came across a website named Dreamstime.

Dreamstime is a distinguished leader in stock photography as well as a major supplier of high quality digital images. Their online website allows anyone to download high quality Royalty-Free images without having to worry about breaking the copyright laws. The way it works is the stock images in Dreamstime's database are provided by Dreamstime's own community's photographers. For every download their quality-based image gets, the photographer receives 30-60% of the sale. Alternatively, photographers can donate pictures to Dreamstime's datebase which will then become available to designers for free as well.

The photo gallery includes over 13,5000,000 images and is renewed with thousands of fresh images and titles on a daily basis. In order to provide us with easy access, Dreamstime's database is organised in numerous categories. Some categories include; Abstract, animals, art & architecture, people, nature, business, technology, travel, objects, and many more. 

Ever since discovering Dreamstime, they have been the number one source of many of my clients' websites and online advertisements. By allowing people to download copyright free images, Dreamstime have helped dodge the massive copyright bullet many of us designers often worry about. So if there are any fellow-designers needing cheap stock images, Dreamstime is definitely what you're looking for!

           Signing up to Dreamstime is absolutely free. Designers can either chose to pay for the downloads seperately or purchase a subscription. I used to purchase the images as I downloaded them, but over the past few months I have gotten extremely reliant on Dreamstime's database and have decided to buy a monthly subscription instead. The subscription allows me to download up to 750 images a month; A goal I definitely do not struggle to reach. 

Dreamstime's services are extremely easy to use and their excessive database includes every image you could possibly ever need! I can't imagine how I could possibly produce the great work I have been producing lately without the use of Dreamstime. Their service is an absolute must for all designers.
